Ashley, Practice Manager
Ashley joined Beaverton Crossroads Veterinary Services in January 2017. While she'd initially started a career in finance, she decided to change course and follow her passion for working with animals. Ashley had been working for clinics across Durham Region before moving to Saskatchewan in 2013 where she accepted a position at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. She moved back to Ontario to accept the position of Practice Manager at Beaverton Crossroads. Ashley is thrilled to be in the clinic environment again where she can apply her experience and knowledge with such a great team. She is currently the proud owner of a Cane Corso, a Pug mix and two rescue cats.
Carrie, Systems Manager
Carrie started at Beaverton Crossroads as a high school co-op student in 1995 and with this experience was hired as night staff. Following graduation from school, Carrie moved into full-time support staff and eventually trained for reception. Currently, Carrie is our Systems Manager and dietary consultant. She has loved working at Beaverton Crossroads and enjoys her various responsibilities. Carrie lives in Beaverton with her spouse and two dogs. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dogs and attending fitness classes.
Marcia, Bookkeeper
Marcia joined the Beaverton Crossroads family in October of 2018. Having recently moved to a cottage community from Thornhill, Marcia is enjoying the friendly small-town atmosphere of lake and rural life. The energetic staff of the clinic have quickly earned a big piece of her heart, so she finds the bookkeeping (and visiting with recuperating patients) to be a joy. She loves sharing her new little cottage home with family and friends, swimming and boating, doing jigsaw puzzles, and music of all kinds. Marcia and her husband take advantage of every opportunity to spend time with their 2 granddaughters!
